If you're really good at bullshitting, they may not. Hey there! I can't say much for the portfolio review for graphic design, because I did the sophomore portfolio for animation, but I took drawing 2 so I can help you with that! You would definitely want to draw real life rather then from a photo- sometimes they can tell.

I'm not the best at drawing but I want to do my best and get accepted so I won't have to wait a whole new year to attempt it again if i end up not getting accepted.Īlso, I want to practice drawing the human figure since alot of posts i've read so far really push that but since i won't be taking Drawing 2 until next semester i want to practice it before, any advice? Should i practice drawing figures from photos?Īlso should i incorporate 3D models in my portfolio? I'm a transfer student, but the projects i have made in the past are of really poor quality and I need to make new pieces this semester if i'm going to be accepted. She said I could participate in portfolio review next semester, but I want to know what are some things I should include in my portfolio review. I'm currently taking Drawing Fundamentals 1, Intro to Computer Art, and Design Fundamentals 3D. I'm currently attending my first semester at UCF and an advisor told me that portfolio reviews for Graphic Design BFA is next semester around February.
